Q2 What do you do for a living? Is this your job, a hobby, etc.?
Jude Aririesike: I am a management/public relations consultant. This blog is more of a hobby than a business venture.
Q3 Why did you start blogging about this topic?
Jude Aririesike: You see, it is a herculean task marketing Nigeria brand in the international community. At the flash of a green passport, you are automatically labeled and stereotyped. In most International Airports a special checkpoints are created where Nigerian travelers are subjected to rigorous and intensive security checks. And I say to these people, not all Nigerians are fraudsters, racketeers, criminals, money launderers etc. There are good, noble and upright Nigerians. In fact, there are personalities/celebrities in Nigeria who have risen from rags to riches as a result of sheer hard work. They have made Nigeria proud both locally and internationally. Their achievements need to be showcased and celebrated for the world to see. I have chosen Naija Best of the Best Blogspot to celebrate the very best of personalities that Nigeria has to offer in different categories such as Entertainment, Movies, Sports, Business, Politics, Science etc. This Blog is my personal contribution to rebranding Nigeria Image Project. The rebranding Project was kick-started by Nigeria's Information and Communication Minister on March 17 2009.
